Getting Started

How to connect your Quo account and activate sync.

Before you start

You'll need:

  • An Attio workspace where you have permission to install apps and edit settings
  • A Quo account with an API key

Unlike some other integrations, Quo isn't connected through Attio's Connections page — it has its own API key field on the app's settings page, since each workspace brings its own Quo account.

Step 1: Install the app

Install Quo for Attio from the Attio App Store like any other app.

Step 2: Add your Quo API key

In Attio, go to Settings → Apps and open Quo.

Under Quo connection, paste your Quo API key into the Quo API key field.

Save.

Your API key is stored securely and is only used to talk to Quo on your behalf.

Step 3: Activate sync

Once your API key is saved, an Activate Quo sync button appears. Click it.

This does three things automatically, in the background:

  • Registers a webhook with Quo so it can start pushing call, message, and contact activity to Attio
  • Syncs your existing Quo contacts into Attio as people, one time, so you're not starting from zero
  • Turns on live syncing of calls, messages, and contact updates going forward

You don't need to configure anything else. Once activation finishes, you'll see a confirmation showing how many existing contacts were synced (and how many were skipped, if any — usually because they had no usable phone number, or because your free plan limit was already reached).

What happens next

From this point on, calls and texts on your Quo number(s) are logged to the matching Attio person automatically, and any new Quo contact becomes a person in Attio. See What Syncs Automatically for the full picture, and Billing to understand the free-tier limits before you rely on this for a busy line.
