Campaign Lists
How each Instantly campaign gets its own List in Attio.
One List per campaign
The first time a lead from a given Instantly campaign is contacted, the integration creates a matching List in Attio, named after that campaign. Every lead who's part of that campaign is added to the List automatically — you don't need to create or maintain these lists yourself.
If the List for that campaign already exists — for instance, from an earlier event — the integration reuses it instead of creating a duplicate.
Tracking status with "Instantly Status"
Each campaign List has an Instantly Status field that's updated every time something happens to a lead in that campaign. Unlike a fixed set of statuses, this field simply reflects the most recent event Instantly sent for that lead — for example email_sent, email_opened, reply_received, or lead_interested. Whatever Instantly reports, that's what shows up.
This means the field always tells you the latest thing that happened to a lead, but it isn't a curated list of stages — it's closer to an event log than a pipeline status.
Why this is useful
Because every lead in a campaign lands in the same List with a live status, you can:
- See at a glance where every lead in a campaign currently stands
- Filter or sort the List the same way you would any other Attio list
- Use the List as the basis for views, reports, or further workflows in Attio
