My App

Settings

Configuration options available on the app's settings page.

These live under the app's settings page in Attio, inside Settings → Apps.

Reply handoff

When someone replies or is marked interested, a follow-up Task is created automatically (see Notes & Tasks). You can control who it gets assigned to:

  • Owner attribute — the slug of a field on your People records that holds the record's owner. If set, Tasks (and Deals) are assigned to that owner.
  • Default assignee — a fallback email address to assign Tasks and Deals to when there's no owner set or it can't be resolved.

If neither is configured, Tasks and Deals are still created — just unassigned.

Pipeline

If you'd like interested leads to automatically enter your sales pipeline, turn on Create or advance a deal when a lead is marked interested and choose which deal stage they should land in. This is off by default. See Leads & Deals.

Deliverability hygiene

If you track bounced or unsubscribed contacts using a Yes/No field on your People records, you can tell the app which field to update here:

  • Bounced attribute — set to true when an email to that person bounces
  • Unsubscribed attribute — set to true when they unsubscribe

Both are optional. A Note is always added for these events regardless of whether you've configured a field — see What Syncs Automatically.

Webhook secret

The app automatically generates a webhook secret and header name when you connect, used to verify that incoming events genuinely come from Instantly. You generally shouldn't need to touch this — it's here in case you need to rotate or inspect it.
