Frequently asked questions about the Instantly integration.
Do I need to do anything after connecting?
Not for day-to-day syncing — creating People, logging Notes, updating campaign Lists, and creating follow-up Tasks all happen automatically. To get Task/Deal assignment and deliverability flags working the way you want, take a look at Settings.
Will this import my past campaigns?
No. The integration only syncs activity that happens after you connect. Past campaign history stays in Instantly, though you can use Fill in details from Instantly to backfill missing contact details on existing records.
Does this work with multiple Instantly campaigns?
Yes. Every campaign you run gets its own List in Attio automatically, and all leads across all campaigns sync to the same People object.
Does every reply or interested lead create a Deal?
No — only leads marked Interested, and only if you've turned on Create or advance a deal when a lead is marked interested in settings. It's off by default. See Leads & Deals.
Can I control which events sync?
Not currently — the integration processes all events Instantly sends. What differs by event type is what it does with them: some get a Note and Task, some just update a campaign List status, and bounced/unsubscribed can optionally flip a field if you've configured one. See What Syncs Automatically.
What happens if I disconnect?
Syncing stops immediately, but nothing already created in Attio is deleted. See Disconnecting the Integration.
Who can connect or disconnect the integration?
Anyone with permission to manage connections in your Attio workspace's Settings → Connections area.
